Collected after an hour down the allotment. Took them home for the chickens, but they were too scared of the big ones… had to smash up the shells for them! Officially grossed out.
Chickens decided to repurpose a windows box of salad into a bath; spent the afternoon there. I guess they just a large plastic box full of soil for their birthday.
That’s it. 25 eggs. The egg skelter is now officially full. I guess that means its big omelettes for dinner today…
Remains of today’s heavy juicing session, will make something for the chickens out of it tomorrow…
Large brewing kit I got for Xmas, here’s my first ever - 25 litres of dark black ale ;)
3 beautiful bottles of homemade blackberry and apple cider. There would be another 3, but they mysteriously disappeared one night. (brewers share?). Incredibly sweet, quite flat, and about 8% alcohol. :)
